exchange
Hoping to give her daughter a brighter future, a mother sends Niu, a teenage girl from northeastern Thailand, to Vancouver on a student exchange programme. What begins as an opportunity for a new life takes a frightening turn when Niu disappears without a trace.
Determined to find her, Niu’s mother turns to Pete, a former exchange student familiar with life abroad. Together, they follow the trail back to Niu’s host family, uncovering unsettling secrets behind the home that was supposed to keep her safe.
As their search deepens, they encounter a chilling story of a woman in black connected to the deaths of young girls. With Niu’s fate still unknown, they must uncover what happened before she is lost for good—and before another girl becomes the next sacrifice.
